Ikebana workshop by Hikoemon Sakamoto, the only Japanese Ikebana master in Poland.
This workshop is an ikebana workshop of the ``Ohara school'', one of Japan's three major ikebana schools.
Ohara-ryu is the youngest of Japan's three major ikebana schools, but it is a large school with branches all over the world. The Ohara school is also famous for being the first to use kenzan, and specializes in relatively small ikebana that can be used at home. Unlike European flower arrangements, ikebana creates spaces between flowers, uses long branches and trees, and arranges the flowers in an unbalanced manner. There are detailed rules for ikebana, and by arranging flowers according to these rules, you can create beautiful ikebana.
This workshop is open to both those who have participated previously and those who are attending for the first time.
Those who participated last time will be asked to try a different style of ikebana than last time.
