This is our second Japanese cooking workshop at Sakamotoya. It is said that the basic Japanese meal is one soup, three dishes, and rice. Therefore, in this workshop, we will make 1 type of soup, 1 main dish, 2 side dishes, and rice under the instructor's lecture every time and then eat together This time, we will focus on SANMAI OROSHI (fillet a fish into three pieces), which is the basics of Japanese food, and we will all cook a few dishes.

This time, We will use the fish, which sea bream. Cut the sea bream into SANMAI OFOSHI, and we gonna cook KOBU JIME (sashimi marinated in kelp), NAMERO (Japanese style sea bream tartare), KABUTO-NI (braised sea bream head), and ARAJIRU (soup made from sea bream bones).

The instructor this time is Mr. HIKOEMON SAKAMOTO, the owner of Sakamotoya. Although this workshop is a basic class, you will be able to learn very authentic Japanese cooking, as well as learn and experience techniques used by Japanese cooking professionals.
